Mama in the House is written by AJ T. Cole, a mother, wife, and creative. The stories and opinions shared in this blog are intended to both serve as a portfolio of my writing styles and to provide context and solutions to complex issues that impact everyone at home and in D.C.

Through storytelling, and sharing my own personal experiences, I hope to inspire a connection with a broader audience. My experiences were at times, traumatic, but with a sense of humor and reflection I learned many lessons along the way and hope to share those stories in hopes of saving someone else the pain.
